Help Turn a Student's.Potential Into a Future.
What happens to LOHADA students when they age out of primary school? After graduating from eighth grade, those who qualify attend secondary schools. Some local schools have waived fees for orphaned and destitute students, who continue to live at LOHADA centers.
After graduating from secondary school, many of LOHADA students are so bright that they are eligible to attend college.
Currently, five are attending local colleges and three are preparing to do so.
These college fees cost about $1,000 per year, a good deal by western standards. But getting that degree puts these students one step closer to getting jobs as teachers, accountants and other professionals.
One hundred percent of your donation will go to paying tuition and room and board for students like Neema, an orphan who found herself in LOHADA’s care after her mother died.
To send a LOHADA student to college, go to the donate page and write “College” in the notes field when donating through PayPal, credit card or with appreciated stock.
