Golden Grace Health Center: Bringing Care Closer to the Community

Compassionate Healthcare for the People Who Need It Most

Access to quality healthcare can make a profound difference in the lives of individuals, families, and communities. In Shinyanga, Tanzania, Golden Grace Health Center is part of LOHADA’s commitment to bringing affordable and compassionate healthcare closer to the people.

A Vision of Compassion

Golden Grace was established in January 2017 in Shinyanga as part of Happiness Wambura’s vision of serving vulnerable people, particularly the elderly and disadvantaged. The health center seeks to provide healthcare in an environment where patients are treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Healthcare Within Reach

Golden Grace provides a range of services designed to respond to important community needs, including outpatient care, inpatient support, maternal and newborn services, vaccinations, HIV treatment, and X-ray services. Through its mobile clinic, Golden Grace also reaches communities outside the health center.

Serving Communities Beyond the Clinic

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the mobile clinic extended its support beyond medical services, delivering food, water, and blankets to elderly women and families connected with Camp Joshua. These efforts demonstrated an important principle of LOHADA’s work:

Serving a community means responding to people where they are and when they need support.

Your support can help Golden Grace access essential equipment, supplies, and resources needed to continue providing affordable healthcare
